Mahjong isn't one universal ruleset. At Bamboo Lounge, play spans four formats:

- Taiwanese
- Japanese/Riichi
- American
Each has its own rhythm and rules. If you're learning, we'll help you begin with the right context rather than expecting you to figure it out alone.
The aim isn't to memorise Mahjong from a page.
It's to become comfortable enough to sit at the table, follow the game and keep learning by playing.
